With so many figures that have been announced, it may not be possible to pre-order or purchase all of them at once. Below is a recommendation on which figure to consider to buy first according to its importance in the plot.

1.   Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War THANOS

Importance to the Plot : 10 / 10

Screen Time : 50% of AIW runtime, it might as well be his movie

Remarks : If there is a deluxe version, it should come complete with diecast helmet and chest armor pieces.

2.   Hot Toys Avengers: Infinity War IRON MAN MARK 50 (DIECAST)

Importance to the Plot : 9 / 10

Screen Time : 30% of AIW runtime

Remarks : Hot Toys should make an accessories pack for all the additional weapons, shields and gimmicks his new nano tech suit can do.  Another cool version they can make is the end battle damage suit, where only half of the suit remains, Tony's head exposed and his stab wound caused by Thanos. Perhaps this can be a Power Pose series to cut down the cost.

3.   Hot Toys Avengers: Infinity War THOR

Importance to the Plot : 7 / 10

Screen Time : 25% of AIW runtime

Remarks : In the movie he should have a new cybernetic eye. Maybe the eye-patch is removable, and this may be announced soon.

4.   Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War IRON-SPIDER

Importance to the Plot : 5 / 10

Screen Time : 10% of AIW runtime

Remarks : A very unique suit that can do more cool poses

5.   Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War CAPTAIN AMERICA (MOVIE PROMO) or Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War CAPTAIN

Importance to the Plot : 3 / 10

Screen Time : 10% of AIW runtime

Remarks : As of this posting, we do not know what the secret weapon is. Maybe is Proxima Midnight's blue tip trident (which he catches when making his appearance in this movie)

6.   Hot Toys Avengers : Infinity War HULKBUSTER (POWER POSE)

Importance to the Plot : 2 / 10

Screen Time : 8% of AIW runtime

Remarks : If only Hot Toys add in the Bruce Banner headsculpt

7.   Hot Toys Avengers: Infinity War GROOT & ROCKET SET or   Hot Toys Avengers: Infinity War GROOT

Importance to the Plot : 2 / 10

Screen Time : 8% of AIW runtime

Remarks : If only Hot Toys make an extra arm to depict Groot help making Stormbreaker's handle, it would be higher up in this list

8.   Hot Toys Avengers Infinity War BLACK WIDOW

Importance to the Plot : 0.5 / 10

Screen Time : 3% of AIW runtime

Remarks : Not really a must have figure cause she is pretty much in the Captain America Winter Soldier suit with extra olive vest and blonde hair. We don't get to see her using those pair of disk shooters that is in her holsters.

Honorable Mention:
Hot Toys Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 GAMORA

Remarks : A figure not under the Avengers Infinity War movie, but close enough version for now until Hot Toys updates her.
